Jennifer Rene Psaki
Jennifer Rene Psaki (American political advisor) was the 34th White House secretary. She was secretary from 2021 to 2022. A part of the Democratic Party, she previously served in the Obama administration as the White House deputy press secretary (2009) and the White House deputy communications director (2009-2011); the spokesperson for the United States Department of State (2013-2015) as well as the White House communications director (2015-2017. Psaki was a CNN political contributor from 2017 through 2020. Psaki began her career with the 2001 re-election campaign in Iowa of Tom Harkin and Tom Vilsack, both Democrats running for U.S. Senate. Psaki was later appointed as the deputy press secretary of John Kerry's 2004 presidential race. Psaki was also the director of communications for Joseph Crowley (U.S.) and as regional press Secretary for the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee. Psaki was the press secretary to the Obama reelection campaign in 2012. 20 February, 2013, Psaki became the spokesperson for the United States Department of State. The speculations that she was going to replace Jay Carney White House Press secretary after he left the White House[21] were fuelled by her hire at the Department of State. However, Josh Earnest was announced as Carney's replacement on May 30th, 2014. She was recalled to the White House as Communications Director in the year 2015 and was in place until the end.
